Ocean forest soil amendments

Hey everyone been having mediocre runs for my first two tries at indoor grows. 4x4x6.5’ tent shitty off brand leds and crappy soil. Have a dimmable 1000w hps coming this week along with FF ocean forest soil. I’ve heard that this soil can scorch young plants. Looking for a good soil mix/amendments for autos and fems germinated from seed. Also light height and power %. Thanks in advance! Starting to get discouraged, please help.

30/30/30 peat/perlite/ocean forest. works for my starts all the time

Coco,if your ok with mixing 3-5 gallons of feed every day, deficiency's go away.You can also feed a root bound FFOF like coco,peat can take the everyday feedings.

I did a side by side dirt comparison grow this last season. I had root original, ocean forest, happy frog and, vermifire. The Happy frog Plant stayed the healthiest the longest without amendments or fertilizing.

I always advise people to get Happy Frog and avoid Ocean Forest. Happy Frog is the only Fox Farms product I've heard very very little bad things about. Ocean forest on the other hand.... Bugs, ph issues, weak fertilization...
