Im sure this has been asked before but I can't find a thread about it

For those CFL growers that use small spaces to grow......

What type of fan and filter combination do you use to mask the smell? Been searching for ways to use PC fans but those are too weak to pull any type of air.

Im sure I have to buy a fan, so does anyone know of a small fan that can be used with a filter?

I also have a bathroom vent in my grow space, could I use that to vent some air out?

I plan on growing 4 SMALL plants at a time

Well if u cant vent into the attick of your house or anything, I used a thing called the Air Sponge, I picked it up at walmart for about 6 bucks, It lasts 2 months and completely eliminates any oders, I just put mine near the exaust on the closet grow when it used to vent into the same room, And i couldnt smell anything, Careful not to put it in the grow box because it'll suck out any humidity also

a guy once told me, the only thing a grower should never short on is air filtration. go out buy your self a canfan air scrubber 540$ Canadian.
it's pricey but it can't be beat theres no worries of it breaking down and it's guarenteed to do what it's supposed to, mind you if it's tiny enough you can mask the smell by dousing the bounce sheet in mint extract.

you'll be fine with that small of a setup with just dryer sheets, just change them out periodically. as long as you have fresh air source and something pulling the air and filtering it out you are good to go. make sure your exhaust is stronger than your intake. i was able to find fans on ebay, they were prewired for 110v, just had to buy the plug heads and wire them, i got 6 of them for $60 and they are each 96cfm. search ebay for 110v fan and find one with the highest cfm, anything above 80 cfm should be fine.

I searched for a small, quiet, some what strong air blower and came across the S&P TD-100x

Its suppose to be real quiet and be able to pull through a small carbon filter. Ill report back once I get it...

Well I got the fan!

and

Im trying to figure out if a speed controller will work with the fan.... NOW my question

Will the speed controller control the over all speed of the fan? The fan has two speeds, so will the controller give me more control instead of the two speeds? or will it just switch from speed to speed?
