Odor Control Titanium Dioxide CFL bulbs

I am hoping to get some feedback on using Titanium Dioxide coated CFL bulbs to control smell in a small cabinet.

I have read posts of beliefs of destroying parts of the plant while destroying odor. Here is my theory:

If you place the bulb(s) far away enough from the plant itself, possibly at the out flowing ventilation fan, that the bulbs would not have any affect on the plant itself, only the air going out of the cabinet. I have done very minimal research on this, and this is just what seems logical to me. I am very interested in these due to the properties they have at killing odors.

Does anyone have any experience with these types of bulbs?

Thanks.

sounds like a gimmick to me. Plants smell strong, simply get a carbon filter and an inline fan, problem solved.

Thanks, gangjababy. Yeah, I have been thinking that route as well. I am converting a 4 drawer vertical filing cabinet and was planning on using some computer fans for ventilation. You stated an inline fan, are you talking about an inline duct fan? This may be a good route to go as well. I have done some closet grows in the past, but this is my first stealth cabinet grow, so it is a little bit out of my knowledge base and I'm still putting it all together.

Thanks for the help and advice!
