I've never used one of these but I doubt that it would cancel out the odor from a 5500 sq ft grow. It would probably work for a small closet grow though. Good price. Almost too good... Go with a fan and carbon filter to be sure. They work. Period.

That is an ozone generator. They are used for lingering smells after a carbon filter has been used (for attics or hallways). They are harmful to humans when they have high levels of ozone in the air (which is why most ozone generators are at the end of duct lines before they are exhausted out.

These work great, but not for tackling heavy amounts of smell. You must use a carbon filter if you want the smell to be taken away. Only use a generator if you know it will be placed in a room or area that you do not spend time in.

This would be a great option for you (link at the bottom) becuase it is small enough that it wont take up a lot of room, but will still be more that enough for scrubbing odor. You dont necessarily have to draw air through it, you can also blow air into it, if that works better for your set up (just put pre-filter on the inside of the filter instead of the outside). Make sure that the filter and fan is matched for the correct size for what you need before you purchase anything. Hope this helps. -Cheif
