OK to chop er' down?

Hey all, been a while since I've been on the block and have one harvest question. I got some AF seeds from attitude and I gotta say I am more than pleased with what I got out of them. But I am basically done with the grow for the most part, but I'm left a little uncertain with what to do..

I pulled out my microscope and checked out her tasty crystals, and id say 50% are perfect and milky, while the rest are clear/half milky. You think give her a couple more days and chop, or just go ahead and chop tomorrow? (leaves are already well into yellowing and hairs are around 80-85% brown).

Hey oldtimer, I would wait a couple of days and check again until there all milky white.What strain are you growing ? Peace, jethead

i heard you want your trichromes about 75/25 milky/clear, thats when its supposed to be best.

if you want to find out for sure. crop a little piece off, dry it, and test it out. granted its going to be a little harsh, but you should still be able to test the potentcy. and leave the smaller bottom buds on for a little while longer under flower lighting so they may get a little bigger.

Amber Dumbass, No Clear trich`s.

The plants potency will not be there completely untill the bud is cured properlly. Smoking it early will not be nearly as satisfing, You need to wait until the plants are mature and the calayx`s are fully swollern before chopping her down or your ripping yourself off.

Remember... cure... cure... cure....

Ooo mr know it all here

amber triches are when the thc is degrading, past its peak. full on milky trichomes are when you want to harvest, at this point you will already see some amber in there so if you do, then chop.

so when i begin to see a LITTLE bit of amber in the trichs I should chop? im thinkin bout choppin tomorrow or tuesday. Give her one last flush before labor. Hmm gunna have to have a pre-mature tasting on wednesday

i didnt read where u said WHAT strain ur growing. if ur growing a mostly sativa, ur already there chop her down. If ur growing an indica mix, let it go until about 20% amber trichs for good mix of head/body stone or about 50% amber for full on body stone.

sorry bud, its a dominant sativa with a hint of indica (according to attitude). got some ambering going on in the main colas and chopping it down as we speak . Going to let the little guys get some light for a few more days though.
