Okay, let's try this again.

So I planted ten seeds. Used 4 23 watt CFL's, one 48 cool white T8 tube, too much water, and too much sloppy transplanting. Judging by the behavior of the leaves, the overwatering seems to be what did it in. Also, the plants don't seem to grow at all, which is a problem.

Panda mentioned this little girl: High Tech Garden Supply

And I think that's what I'm going to go for. Easier to hang/adjust than my previous ghetto setup. Could you guys help me out, though? I have a few questions:

1. How much to water?
2. Can I start the seeds off in 2 gallon pots instead of transplanting?
3. Is fertilizer a necessity? I ask because I don't know when to apply and how to measure.
4. How many plants can a 400 wat hps/mh bulb support?

Thanks for any help. Hopefully, I'll do it right this time. I use Expert Gardener Organic Blend, which has a ph of 6.5, so at least that's right.
