Hi guys basically started a grow with auto fem Pineapple express and so far so good, two plants, nice hard strong stem and a nice colour on the leaves. my only thing is i originally purchased a HID and decided not to use it for propogation so bought a 200w blue cfl online.

while waiting for the 200w blue i went to a hardware store and bought 3x 21w cfl (warm white)

my question is is it worth using them all together? (i managed to fit the cfl into the reflector for the hid with some finger work!) so have that on top and was wondering if i should pop the other 3 bulbs around etc?

cheers! x

Set-up is 600w hps 3 ft away, grow room is 2.5ft by 2.5ft by 7ft, not watering them much just a bit too make sure soil is a bit moist (also have clay balls/hydroton) and on a lighting time of 24, two fans, one for fresh air intake and one just to keep air circulating, temp at 20-25c and humidity at 40-45%.
much appreciated! x

Any light is good light. Turn them all on. I go so far as to stand 48" fluoros on end next to flowering plants to help side growth and it pays off. I spot using bowl reflectors if they aren't in use elsewhere. They like light of all points in the spectrum at any stage of growth. They simply utilize more of certain parts of the spectrum in certain stages of development and growth. The worthless lights include those 300-watt halogen shop lights and just about any incandescent.
