Ona Gel (I’ve used the search bar)

Hi,

Long story short, I had a ona gel bucket about a couple feet from my tent up until week 5 (if you are counting a week after flip) week 6 (if you are counting right after flip) of 12/12. After reading comments about how it may affect the taste/smell of my buds,I stopped using it. My buds recently starting stinking up, would using ona week 1-5 of flower be enough to mess things up if I’m going until week 9? For those who have used ona, did you taste it instantly or was it subtle? Thanks

Where are you putting the Ona gel too ? I’ve known people to use the cubes but in the outtake part of the filter system the air gets sucked thru a carbon filter through the fan and out the exhaust pipe with the Ona block half way inside the pipe ?

Yeah same room. The tent is sealed and the intake is about 12 feet from where the bucket was. Just was worried since it was in the same room, stuff could seep through zippers/slight holes and possibly intake since i'm not pulling air from my window. All I can do now is pray for the best.. The buds are smelling nice and looking frosty

That explains the shit taste of the weed from the only other local grower I know. Dudes buds look dank, but tastes like a goddamn dryer sheet. Half tempted to tell him what’s up and how to fix it, he’s an alright fella and not a bad grower save for the dryer sheet taste, but telling him what’s up would out me as another grower so idk.

Best bet is a carbon filter. You can even set one up just to scrub the breath room, just put the filter on the floor and have the fan pull air through.
