One cannot cause growth; one can only let growth

Starting another grow and keeping it super simple. Using this to keep me accountable as I get better results when I spend time immersed in the grow.

Setup: 3x3 tent in a finished room of a garage, 2nd story so on the hot side. Cooling is a 12,000 btu mini split that keeps the room anywhere from 70-80°F in summer. Also running a dehumidifier at 35%.
Tent seems to be about 75°-86°F.

Lights: 600 watt cooled HPS. No par maps or ppfd or dimmers or diode batch numbers.

Medium: Coast of Maine stonington + extra perlite

Nutes: Mega crop 1 part the whole way. Start to finish.

Genetics: Blue star family blues, CSI Trainwreck Durban poison, and RocBud K-Dreamz

Water: half well water and half tap water. When I combine the 2 I get a ph of about 6.3-6.7

I got 3/3 family blues to pop, 2/2 K-Dreamz to pop, and 2/3 trainwrecks. The 3rd Trainwreck has almost broke through the riot rooter plug but I might just scrap it because I hate when babies are slow. Most of the time they just aren't worth keeping.

Today is day 2 above soil.

If temps are getting into the 80s, I'd let the humidity get higher than 35%, but that's just me.

I used to add humidity and try and keep certain numbers but I stopped adding and only try and bring it down. Where I live it is usually very humid and hot so I only started to care about too much humidity. Too little humidity has never hurt me unless drying but I know where you are coming from.

Thanks for posting!

Watering just the lightest cup but the others I'm still letting dry back. I pop my seeds in riot rooters and then plant that in a solo cup with damp soil. I normally don't water them for about 5-7 days or when I see roots come out the bottom of the cup but the humidity has been very low so they won't last that long.

In my experience seedlings do much better starting off with a strong light and good dry back.

Gave them water with a light feeding of MegaCrop. The weather is about to turn so I should be seeing lower temps and higher humidity soon.

Trainwrecks are the smallest and I lost one at sprouting but I am hoping they do well because I am after the Terpinolene terp that CSI says they are heavy in.
