One more TIME!!!!!

Ok everyone, Once again I am going to give an attempt at a soil type grow. I have tried soil a few times before and have never had any success. I have many Hydro grows under my belt though. I think I was using crappy soil, to much luv. and just basically messing everything up.

This time i have eight Morning Glory Clones that are two weeks from the date I cut them. They have nice white roots popping out of the Rapid rooters. For soil I am using the Organic Coco Coir Planting mix. I hope this will help me stay away from nut burn and root rot.

When i planted them, I gave them a Nut mix of 220 PPM. with a PH of 6.4. I have placed these temporary in my small flood system. Once they get growing better they will go into 3 gallon grow bags, and I will be setting up some kind of drip system to make it more self sufficient. The lights for vegging are going to be a single bulb'd t-5, and (6) 43 watt CFLS.. the same light system I use on my hydro grows while I am vegging.

Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated.
(By experienced growers.. Not well my friend does this.........)

here are a few pictures of my young ladies. Not sure how many I want to finish this time. At first I was thinking only two because of the HOT, HOT summer days here. But now I am thinking of keeping all 8 growing.. Screw the Light BILL!!!!

Later,
LDB

P.S. Look close, at the third pircture, top left plant.

I know someone has used this Coco stuff before, the Hydro guy says a lot of people use it for soil grows. It is all organic material. I am useing what is left over of a bottle of GH Power Plant for veg. For flowering I think I am going to use Iguanna juice as my main nutrient. Not to sure about what I am going to do on flowering. I am thinking I am going to give organic a try. The hydro store owner told me that with Coco as my medium, and a good organic Nut Mix, I can get a nice soil taste.

Really need some in put here. I am totally lost on a soil type grow.

Well my plants are 3 weeks since I planted them and they are doing FANFUCKINGTASTIC!!!!! And the Smell is a lot stronger. It is amazing to me. I have 3 week old vegging plants that smell stronger then my sugar coated Hydro flowering plants that are 5 weeks into flowering. I have always been a strong pusher of Hydro, but I can possibly see me switching very soon if things continue this way.

COCO looks like soil, and reacts with the plant like soil. But it is more controllable then soil.
