grow info:
plant in question is a fem confidential cheese
roots organic soil
250w hps in a cool tube
temps are 80-84 during the day 77 at night
humidity stays around 35-40%

Hey first time grower here, I'm about 3 weeks now and one of the two good plants has some yellow discoloration and is bending over. Any idea what it could be? I've probably been doing the noob mistakes, but been trying to be more careful to not water till it's dry a inch or two below the surface, and I just tried to tie it to a straw to straighten it out. Thank you for any help you can give me

overwatering. main stem so soft its collapsing. Dont keep putting your finger in the soil to see how dry they are, go by the light-dry heavy -wet method. Also the cup should dry out more than an inch below.

thanks for the tip, I'd prob would have continued sticking my finger in there daily. I'll start paying more attention to how heavy they feel before and after waterings. I'll def cut down on how much water she gets and see if she starts looking better. The stem felt very strong and solid when I was tying the straw to it, would you still think thats what is causing it? It was always the healthier of the plants until one day I left the fan pushing on it too much, when I came to check on them it was bent over.

Thank you again for the reply
