you could heat the reflector up some so the film will get warm enough to scrape off maybe idk pics would help to see what happened

Had the same thing happen to me from a batwing, some yellow like film came off while it was on and messed up my buld I caught it before it got bad due to weird smell. I unplugged it when I see it happen and pylled all it off except what fried onto the bulb.

Let it cool and get hard, you should be able to chip/peel some off, then scrape rest with razor blade.

If scrapping doesn't work, maybe try lighter fluid.
