Opinion | New Grower | Clones

Hey everyone.

So this is my first grow ever, im using a t 2x2x4 vivosun tent, an LED light that has individual Veg/Bloom switches and pulls about 250w from the wall even though it advertises 450w. I've got a 12in carbon filter and a ac infinity cloudline s4 exhaust fan. 2 mini fans, 1 intaking air, 1 circulating air.

2 things:
1. I wanted opinions on the clones and how they're looking, only had them 1 day now and almost finishing 1 light cycle of 18/6.
2. Should I wait till my soil gets here on Tuesday before I start giving nutrients so its established in the pot it will spend its life in? I've read mixed things on giving clones nutes before transplanting.

I gave them a PH watering last night once they were all set up and might give them 1 more before transplanting. Don't know if I should water enough so that there is runoff or not when they're in these tiny pots.

Thanks everyone! :weed::wall:

So I ended up giving them a feeding of just FF Big Bloom/ phd because the leaves were turning a slight yellow. Hopefully everything is going fine since no ones commented

They look great. Don’t worry too much, some leaves may wilt. Better to not over water or over nute.

For sure. I'm just all nervous cuz I really don't know what I'm doing besides videos and tips from forums/articles lol.

Totally understand, how I started this year. Keep reading and watching, it’s worth it. Pulled an ounce from my first one, now growing four clones from it and those were rooted in just tap water. You’re already a step ahead lol

Also, the second bushy plant pic was cloned from this. So again, don’t worry, they’re resilient.

Dang looks good! For sure, im just taking mental and physical notes on things. I'm transplanting Tuesday to 3gal fabric pots so I'll see how they do from that point forward. Thanks for feedback!

I picked up the clones from a club but I have fox farms happy frog arriving Tuesday. I dont know much about soils either I just grabbed it with my grow set up purchase on Amazon. I have the fox farms trio nutes as well.

Happy frog is great. Don’t overfeed once you transplant, the Fox farms soil will supply what they need for a while. When you start feeding, start at a low amount and work your way up. PM me with questions too if you want, know a lot about all of the Fox farms products.

Awesome, I appreciate it man! Okay, so you're saying just ph balanced water for awhile until they start to look like they could use some help from the nutes?

Ya, exactly. Let them tell you what they need before you start over feeding. My guess is after transplanting they’ll be good in the Happy Frog for at least two weeks before needing any additional nutes. I’m a strong believer that people over feed when not necessary and it causes more problems than it should.

You just transplanted them I would water the first few times with clonex. It’s better to under water than over water. I’m more into spraying my plants with a kelp ocean magic solution. Very light concentrate. Never spray your plants when the light is on.
