Optimal amount of veg time...

I basically need to know what is usually the quickest and shortest amount of time you can veg but still get the most out of your plant. I need to know because im deciding whether to use an early flower strain that finishes in 90 days, or getting a better bigger strain that will give me 3 times the yield but the flower time is 35 to 45 days. I only have 90 days maximum. The second strain usually takes 4 months to grow, but with the difference in yield if i harvested early id still get more out of the second strain. which one should i go with. The guaranteed 90 days n done, full blown maturity, or use the reg strain that can give me 3 times more weight, but i might have to finish early...im mean, im thinking the second because 35,45 days of flowering seems like it could be done in 90 days anyways... questions and help with the strains will be awesome but really just want the first question answered.

first of all, i don't know of any strain that finishes in 35 / 45 days of flowering..

secondly, to get the best out of plants, it's always recommended to veg them till they preflower, then switch over to flower, which is usually about 6 weeks or more of veg or so..

lastly, you can't rush nature.. a plant is going to finish when it's ready, there's not much you can really do to hurry things along, and it's never a really a good idea to try and grow to a schedule like you're thinking of, as there are way too many things that can and often do go wrong during a grow that end up pushing the finishing date back..

pitbull finishes in 36 days as advertised. I diddnt think it would and I let go for 39 but it does exist. lol

who makes pitbull?? i've never heard of anything, other than that shit stuff stoney girl gardens tries to push and say it finishes in 35 days..

As far as I know Stoney girl made it. I dont buy their 35% thc crap and I do not use her recomended soil but mine was finished
on time.

idk, i find that hard to believe.. if they have some magical strain that finishes in 5 weeks, why don't other breeders have the same strain??

i've also read a lot of people saying the same things about their claims on finishing times.. i've never run any of their gear, and probably never will, but i still find it very hard to believe that this one breeder happened to find one cannabis strain that finishes that much sooner than anything else on the market.. just sounds fishy to me..

As far as Im concerned the yeild was low and it is just your basic Good indica dom strain. Good smell and taste
makes you tired.
36 days. I plan to run another batch organic and see how it does.

idk, i've heard it all before, and i still am not buying it.. again, why doesn't anyone else have a strain that finishes a goo 2 weeks sooner then the fastest flowering strain?

usually, in my book, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.. and i've also read plenty of people who have tried their gear and said that they finish fast, but no where near 35 days or so, which is what i believe..

Yeah, under "perfect conditions" Female Seeds Pure AK ( a variant of AK 48 ) finishes in 48 days. Not sure when they start counting, but I'm on day 68 of 12/12 and looks like I might go another 2 weeks. Nice looking nugs though!

I started the day I flipped the lights

I shoot for them to be about the size of a basketball, this last one had the preflowers when it reached that size born 06/23 put to flower on 07/29

Like I said, I doubt the thc was that high, the yeild was low but it finished on time.

So basically what your sayin is the 90 day strain would be better cuz of nature. Just realized i have to anyways cuz the 35/45 day flower strain actually doesnt come out till september. the 90 day is iranian auto n the 35/45 flower is freedom 35 theyre both from dgthttp://drgreenthumb.com/cannabis_seeds_GreenthumbSeedsEntrance.htm,. so 6 weeks veg thank for the info.im pissed cuz the freedom 35 looks dank as fuck

Okay, I dont usually comment on too good to be true things, but everyone should read the link that was posted. It is friggin great. Going to quote my favorite part just to see if you guys find this as funny as I do.

Sorry to say that this just makes me die laughing. What do you have to veg this plant for a year in a scrog, then flower for 35 days and then you get 55 ounces? thats the only way I can see ya doing 55 OUNCES in a scrog in 35 days. At that pace in flower the buds would basicly have to double in size every day for the whole 35 days, and you would need some triple and quadruple growth days to get 55 ounces dry. Or it could be a sudo scrog thats really a screen of green where the plants are just bent with 55 plants under the screen and an ounce per plant, but then you arent SCROGING. Sorry but I cant believe that, 55 ounces in a scrog in 35 days, if that were the case noone would grow anything but pitbull on a comercial scale.
