Ordering seeds to NY, legal status???

Hi there,

I have a question about the law in NY about cannabis seeds. I'm from germany and my sister lives in NY. I really want the Alien Rift seeds from ocean grown seeds but I can get the seeds only in the US. My idea was to order the seeds to my sister and bring them to germany by myself after vacation. Is there a punishment for seeds in NY?
I hope somebody can help me.

Letter of the law or practical living?

It is technically illegal to ship any cannabis product, including seeds across state lines. Most states use the federal definition of cannabis which lists seeds. NY doesn't allow recreationl use of cannabis, so they could charge for possession.

But practically speaking, neither the postal service nor most northeast states consider seeds a high priority. People buy them through the mail all the time. Just realize it is technically illegal.

And then you have to get them home. All US airports are federally monitored. TSA is a part of the Dept of homeland security,

Not trying to scare you, people do it all the time. But don't be stupid and call the post office looking for your pot seed delivery, or toss in a carry on bag and point them out to the tsa screener.

I think i will wait until the seeds are available in europe. I don't want that my sister get in trouble because of some cannabis seeds.

Why don't you try other websites. I'm sure someone in eu carries them
