organic guerilla grow- mulching with fresh grass clippings

I figured it'd be a solid plan to help retain moisture, thermo-regulate during hot/cold weather fluctuation, and as it decomposes, it'd act like a slow-release fertilizer (nitrogen!)

sooo whaddya think? does it matter that it's not composted?

anybody try it?
