Don't forget next weekend is the Orionid Meteor Shower. The radiant point will be above the northern part of the constellation Orion. So look to the southeast.
The best time to watch is between midnight and dawn early Saturday and Sunday. They predict there should be at least 20 per hour. The less light pollution in your area, the more you get to see. It should have optimal viewing since the waxing crescent moon will have set long before the show starts.
