i live in California, if i planted in early January, would it start flowering immediately after a month or two because the light cycle is still under 12 hours?

They would flower within a week or two, just like turning the lights to 12hrs indoors

In January, the light cycle is still way less than 12 hours so they should start flowering quite rapidly.

In fact, the shortest day of the year is around Dec 22nd. Then the days gradually get longer and reach 12/12 around Mar 22nd.

I was just about to ask that question... So let's say I clear out my spot and I plant some seeds is it going to be a waste of time cause their gonna flower right away? Or will they get big enough before they mature enough to flower? Btw I'm in cali

They will probably flower within a couple weeks. Can't you keep them inside under a light some of the time?

A clone will flower a seed will have to first become sexually mature first then it would flower now growth will vary if any at all what I do is keep inside until I want to flower in the winter. For the regular season will be planting seeds in March sexing in May. dirrtyd

Let's say that I plant some seeds at my spot right now will it be too early? I have hundreds of seeds so I don't really care about wasting them. And I can't start them indoors...
