Outdoor in southern Ontario Question

Hey Ive been growing for many years, last year my plants started showing end of july a wonder women skunk and a northern lights both female, this year i have to random seeds a friend gave me they look really good but arent showing yet Aug 11, iam wondering if this definitly rules out them being males and if it is just due to all the sun we have had and very little cloudy days, thanks alot
