I am gearing up for the 2011 outdoor growing season. I dont think I am going to post pics until the end of the season because I am super paranoid, but some input would still be nice. The grow is in the middle of nowhere. The plan is to put up a 12'x12'x6' cedar fence and keep all the plants below 6' tall. We will dig out 2' of soil inside the 12x12 area and lay down plenty of fish guts, straw and compost, and then start raking the original soil in while adding plenty of straw and peat moss for organic material. Straw is not my #1 choice of organic material but we are talking 2,000 gallons of soil hear so I cant really afford much else. Plants are going to be our own strains that we are developing from seeds we bought and high quality bag seed. We will probably have 24 plants unless we get more people involved. Each plant is already about 2' high already and we are going to have to do some serious topping to keep these guys from getting too tall. This is by far the largest outdoor grow we have ever attempted so I have no idea what to expect as far as yield goes, but I am super excited to find out!
