Most strains will flower if u put em out right now. its nearly 12/12 at the moment. You might be able to get away with it but Ive got plants I put out two weeks ago that are in full swing flower, which is what I wanted.... I dont think the light cycle changed enough in 2 weeks to make a dif yet. Wait till 4/20 and plant away.

I live in so cal and got 12 veging in my backyard.
I've got 12, too, in various stages of flowering.. I put the first ones out the last week of February. Gonna have my first harvest in April. I veg indoors, 18/6, til they are about 2 feet tall. I like to stick 3 outside every 30 days so I have a perpetual harvest til about November.

huh...the valley, eh?

I got 24 veggies indoors that aren't going out till late may...so like a 2+ month veg on em...I might run outta room...topping them all in the next couple days, almost ready for their first transplant.

April 13 or 19th I forget at this time the hours are 13/11. While some strains will flip into flower, it will take weeks to get fully into flower - and by then the plant will know its no longer near 13 hour days.

Started from seed it won't flower ....a sexually mature clone will bc of the light difference (usually 18/6 to whatever it is outside at the time)..I planted seeds April 1st last year and they did great....I'm in so cal, Los Angeles area

I had some pretty nasty looking mother plants i kept alive over the winter. Took all my clones December 1st. I wasn't sure what to do with the mothers after that. Hate to toss a living plant. So I put them under 12/12 around Feb 1st and then put them outside towards the end of February. Today is harvest day. One of them actually perked up very nicely so I think I'll actually get a few ounces of good bud off of it.. Strawberry Diesel and Cherry Pie are the strains.

I'm in the 818 as well and do you think it is warm enough at night to keep
vegging plants outdoors all night long or is it too cold at night for plants?
4-5 am in the SFV is at 50 degrees so is this too cold for plants to handle and could stress
them out? Mine are vegging clones and not from seed. Thank's!
