Outdoor watering system?

I was planning for my first grow to have 30 Early misty seeds and instead of hand watering i was wondering if i could take an airtight bucket and fill it with a weak water/fert mix and drill 30 holes in the buckets top and run the hoses into the water.I will run the other end of the hoses into the soil by the plants. Then i will drill one final bigger hole and slide in the hose of a bike pump so i just have to measure how far you push to get x amount of water and then I would just have to do some pumps to water them.

The idea is sound. the execution might be a little more difficult. You would just be setting a hydro drip setup on the ground. It will work better if you run a hose out of the bucket from the pump and keep your individual lines as short as possible. Drip irrigation fitting are available at hydro store, Menards, Lowes, ect. They are a seasonal item for the large stores. There are systems that come ready made to send water to seperete pots, a little pricey maybe, will save you a lot of time and grief, all the parts are there. I'm sure if you look in FAQ, upper left hand corner of this page you will find a DIY on drip systems. Thats really what your talking about. VV

no he means a manual pump that he visits whenever he checks his plants that he can stomp on to make water distribute from said 5gal bucket out of hoses to report to his 30 plants. seems like a pretty good idea but i dont think that will supply 30 plants. maybe like 10 per system.......
