overwatering? a little help?

Hello out there, just looking for some opinion on how much I should be watering my plant? How much for regular watering much how much water used to flush? I'm using MG so I've been thinking about a flush to help get some of the nutrients its packed with, out. I have some nutrient burn coming from the soil. When watering regularly should I allow like four cups of run-off? More? Less? Water regularly leaving no run-off at all? Thanks for any help!

I go for runoff each and every time I water soil plants. Water again before the soil dries out completely.. It may take a while between waterings at first..

with mg ... the flush doesnt really help .. they have little clear balls that break down slowly and flushing may just break more at once and make it worse .... try picking out as many of those little suckers as you can ... this will help more than flushing .... dont get me wrong here though ... I use it all the time .. it's just a little tricky sometimes but for the money ......

thanks a bunch tommy, i will be sure to let some water drain out from now on. and thanks jeff, i do notice all of those little balls in there. no way in hell i can pick them all out with that baby already planted though lol. from what i just read on the bag, i think they release nitrogen more than anything. naturally the plant gets the nitrogen once the soil begins to dry out, no? so maybe i'm just getting way too much nitro into my plant. i have a little claw action going on with my leaves. hopefully she improves with age! thanks again guys... maybe just make a swap to different soil next batch. anybody got opinions on proper flushing procedures eh?

I had the same problem and I just let the soil dry out completely! To get rid of that!

thanks hamster! yeah i think im switching to soilless next time. too late for this one, no transplant possible... hopefully it will be able to handle the amount of moisture retained, and the nutes during flower! crossing the fingers... just found out the plant is a female

I don't see any pix but I'll assume the plant is still young? REPLANT. MG kills ppls shit. I'm like soooo tired of reading about it.
Ya know...you can make a mix with the MG you have and tone it down with some more composted manure and peat moss. I also use lots of worm castings. MMM good.

omg if you give your plant full strength mg it WILL DIE. so give it half strength. fertilizer is salt so use your head;

example #1 if you sprinkle some salt onto hash-browns it would probably improve the quality of the hashbrowns, but dumping a whole shaker full of salt onto some hash-browns would render them useless and un-edible
