Overwatering? or Phos Deficiency?

So i have been running into this issue we my latest girls

Promix BX soil

straight distilled water for the first 2 weeks...1/8 strength nutes the last water

Now the larger plant in pic one is much older than the babies but the issues seen with it started the same way.

its like a soggy browned leaf tip that is on the lower older growth...as the plant grew it progressed upward but never on the new growth and only on the lower leaves

I can figure out if its overwater or a def - i let the pot get pretty dry water once every 2 or 3 days...so I'm confused

not sure if anybody has seen this before but if so I would love the help its starting to frustrate me greatly. I dont want to smack it with nutes but i will if i have to

AN nute like micro, grow, bloom

its like the growth is stunted as well

both of the babies are baby ryders from auto seeds and the older plant is a BF critical kush - my other auto jack herer is the same age as the berry ryder and looks great no issues so im assuming it could be something the strain needs

again its almost like the leaves turn this brown soggy

anything info is greatly appreciated thanks in advance

  • Promix BX soil

straight distilled water for the first 2 weeks...1/8 strength nutes the last water <-- Thats the problem and you need to add cal/mag when using distilled water along with a stronger feed as you are starving them ...

  • Edit : With Promix water and nutrient pH should be around 6.2-6.5 , as it looks off too ! Peace

Not a chance that plant is deficient by default.. or rather, it's too small in too much soil to be having a deficiency due to not having nutrients available. Over watering will indeed stop uptake of nutrient to great degree.

Just let her dry out (you already question if it might be overwatered, so I will assume it isn't dried out') and keep temps moderate and 'let her be'.. The plant want's to be a plant right now. Nothing more and nothing else.. It doesn't want fed anything out of the ordinary. It just wants some light to reach to and some time to adjust at this time in it's life.

All of that said is assuming you know your PH is correct.. if not, well then your screwed until you can get on top of it, sorry. :)
