Hey guys, I'm needing to get a reflector soon for my 6x6 space with a 400 hps. I see parabolic and the simple bat wings for 50 to 80 dollars. How do the parabolic ones compare? Right now I'm just hanging the bulb down vertically but need to get a reflector. Thanks!
Turns out it more like a 4x4 to 5x4 space depending if I move a shelf or not...but 4x4 for sure. I have one 400 which I was going to use and was hoping it would be enough to conserve power and reduce heat build up in the room. I've flowered with the way it's is now just hanging down | vert | but I'm using two dwc sterilite totes now and don't want to have to rotate them so the plants are all growing on one side if you know what I mean. I figured using a reflector or two, as I have a spare 250 hps if absolutely needed, and moving the light above them would allow more even coverage without me having to move the toes around. I have some medical issues and it's painful to have to move all that water around, sounds wimpy but it is painful and gives me spasms. I was looking at these parabolic ones that have the light in the vert position...they have them in the horizontal position to.
I do, I have them on small furniture movers...It's just getting down that low and having to pull push etc all that weight around to rotate them can be a pain sometimes...thanks for the input.
