FIRST THREAD!!! First I want to say thanks for everyones posts through out the forum you guys are extremely helpful.
Ok on to my question.
Im planning on building my first 400w MH grow box soon (I will keep it in my garage) but temps in my area are going between 100-105 lately. Im thinking that If I keep my light on during the day the temps inside the box will get a bit high even though they will be under shade and with air flow going through.
I thought to build the box with a removable top lid and make a shade cloth screen that I can put on during the day and roll the box out to get sun light. Im going to be growing only 4 plants max (autoflower) so ill be doing a 20/4 or 24/0 light cycle. The box wont be too big or heavy and it should be easily rollable since the plants should be relatively small.
will this work or are sunlight/400w bulb too different of spectrums that it will cause negative effects?
