PGR Weed

Noticed now recently a lot of these “PGR” buds going around, for those unfamiliar like I myself was it’s supposed to be a growth regulator, a substance banned in most our foods and is supposed to give plants a better yield. I’ve noticed a lot of buds now are dense, unusually dense, like rocks. It’s supposed to take some of the flavour out in order for more dense and heavier buds, more weight more money. Just wondering if anybody else come across this shit or any growers out there dabbled in it themselves.

As should be the case, over here in the UK it ain’t legal. So no control, no governing body over weed just a lot of commercialised shit. A lot of buds get the label “Cali” round here too which I find utterly ridiculous.
Depends the chemical ones can be nasty stuff indeed if your growing for bud but kelp isn't so bad alfalfa isn't so bad they both contain natural pgrs also for tissue culture there required from what I gather anyway mate you can tell stuff that's been pgrd to hell anyways it looks garbage and over plump vs normal grown the whole cali thing is bs they literally get stuff from anywhere using American genetics and call it all that even if it was a east coast thing lol its just to drive up the price its uk or eu grown 99% of it and not done well

Absolutely, natural is fine, it can't be tested for because natural PGR's are in all plants, but you'll never get the kind of concentrations with kelp or alfalfa that you get with synthetic pgr's. (Which is a good thing)

Yeh starting to get sick of the gimmicks, such as the “Cali” what? “Cali” seeds grown in your English neighbourhood haha. yes it is painfully obvious when a bud has been PGR’d n fucked up, picked up buds that could probably kill somebody if thrown hard enough. Stupidly dense

I'm next door mate I'm in Scotland similar situation though some stuff is insanely dense because of genetics stuff with cookies in it for example however yeah that pgr stuffs overly dense and the shape of the bud is all wrong it looks weird the whole cali bs is a cash grab ironically I've had actual legit weed from cali you aint missing much stuff from Canada and Spain was miles better Cali is over produced dross for the most part and the shit that gets sent here won't pass tests there so you don't want it hell alot of Americans wouldn't go near it ask them you will see for yourself also on a side note there is a lots from the UK on here mate there's even a big UK growers thread on here you proly wanna check it out mate
