i am using tapwater to mix my nutes with i am growin in soil i also have ph test for my fish tank that has ph up and down with it...i ran a ph test on my tap water its a little more basic than i or the plant would like..can i use ph down to fix this?

Definitely. What exact reading are you shooting for? Should be about 6 for soil.

wow...really..right now my tap water is at around 8 il deff get on that for next feeding thanks bro

Oh, one more thing, be sure and check the PH AFTER you add nutes to water.

before you worry too much about the ph of the water,have you checked the ph of the soil so you can balance them out.
in soil one is no good without the other..
