Is it possable to have correct PH in a soil grow, both going in and run off, and still have nute lock out

i would say it could be possible. Use a crapload of one nute and ph it correctly, still causing lockout?

I wouldn't think so. Isn't the definition of nute lockout being at a pH where nutrients are not able to be taken up? If this is your current issue make sure you have the correct pH numbers for your medium and make sure your reader is calibrated once a week or more.

"The following points can also be responsible for nutrient lockout.

  • PH is incorrect or fluctuates.

  • Single pack hydroponic solutions.

  • Salt build up.

  • A chemical reaction between 2 or more nutrient
    solutions that are mixed together.

Quoted from mogie in "nutrient lock explained". I base my assumption on this.

The runoff of the soil isn't accurate measurement of the accurate ph of the grow medium it's the ph of the runoff.
I've never got it the same oh and how I tried but then discoved it doesn't matter about da runoff ph, worry more
about what's going in~
