Ph levels something good to know

Hello all, I have made a recent discovery about PH levels. I have been having problems with my leaves, they are browning then eventually turning black at the bottom 3 leaves. I couldnt figure out why they were doing that because I was doing everything that made sense from what I was reading on the net! this morning I went over to check my babies and figured that they needed some water so I poored the liter that I needed for my 4 plants that are in 6inch pots, I then checked the ph which was good 6.5, then I added some nutriants (plant prod ) all purpose fertilizer 20-20-20. I mixed in 4ml to my 1 liter of water, fed the baby's. I then took another testing stick to test the ph of the water that drained from the pots. the ph was nothing the indicater on the box didnt go that low which was a level of 5, so I suggest taking your Ph levels after you put your nutriants

best of luck to all

your nutes will drop your ph levels and MUST be checked after fert. They will shoot up like crazy if using a recirculating system after every feeding for first 4 days then will balance out.
