Tap water has a ton of crap in it that your plants wont like. i suggest using reverse osmosis water, i get mine for .25 cents a gallon in front of the grocery store.

careful going too low on your ph, your N will get locked out if its too low. I am in coco and i PH my solution to 6.0.
your good at 5.9 but i wouldnt go much lower unless your running straight hydro, PH needs to be lower for hydro.

What type of medium are you using?

You did good with the flush, just let them recover now and up your nutes gradually, i never get over 1/2 strength nutes.
if it was a bad burn it may affect your harv, but it sounds like you have it under control so i wouldnt worry too much.

very doubtful it was ph, could have been crap in the water, clorine etc.

soil acts as a great buffer for ph and the ph of rain is 5.6 (in most places)

I usually go with 5.8 to get close to rain

PH is blamed for a lot of things that it does not actually cause :bigjoint:
