Hello all,
I'm a new grower so this might be a stupid question bu t here goes...When you adjust your PH should It stay corrected for a day or two or Is this going to be a daily test?
My PH seems to come from the tap around 7.0-7.5.when I adjust It down to around 6 It stays like that for about a day and a half and then seems to jump back up to around 7.0 again,Is this normal? or Is something wrong?
I did use lead weights to hold the bubble stones down could this be bad having lead In the water?
thanks for any opinions!!

The ph can jump around.. especially up within 2-3 days.

It means your plant is sucking down nutes and water, and its nothing to worry about unless its absolutely erratic.

I would be more concerned about ph dropping real fast, as this could be a sign of root rot, or some sort of root disease.

Does your roots look nice and white, and does the foliage look good?

No and yes....

You PH will fluctuate a little bit but if you clean your stuff and keep it tight then you should not have that much fluctutation. I check mine twice daily and only have to adjust once every 4 or 5 days or so. The lead weights will affect your PH causing them to become more alkaline (higher PH) I would get rid of them asap.

Best O Luck

i don't know if the lead would/could end up into your water/rez, but there's no way i'd us that. lead is bad news for your plants/you. how big is your container? smaller rez's can be a hassle to keep a stable ph in. are you adding your nutes, and then adjusting ph? if not, you should.
