Pheno hunting/ perpetual grow

Previously posted about my set up, possibiltys, light and set up for room i have.
room is about 5ft by 10ft and i was thinking of having one tent to veg in and rest lf room to flower- main issue was the ventilation and i think with the various tents i’ll be more in controll of smell ect so settlin

i’ve settled on two tents main tent will be a 4x4 second will be the smaller 3x3 and i’llbe vegging inthe rest of room and i’ll be on a pheno hunt with these strains:

Bubba kush fems
Liberty haze
Lemon skunk

( all from grizzly seeds )

lights -
4x4 tent HLG 600 R spec
3x3 ? Undecided but could opt for a spider farmer ( open to suggestions )
Open room i’ll be looking to maybe veg with an led but i also have 3 x dimmable hid lights to utilise but i’ll be looking at keeping watts below the 2000watts

ventilation- possibly looking at running the one fan for both the 4X4 and 3x3 but not sure on exact size but be looking to keep fan noise to a mininmum so DC will be looked at when shopping.

planning on sticking to the hybrid strains with the quicker flowering times, i’ll be growing from clones and plan on adding 6 clones to 4X4 after a good 7wk veg, net will be added and i’ll be aiming to fill net to maximise 4X4

3X3 i’ll be looking to fill with clones with shorter veg time maybe even with just the 2/3 weeks.

i’ll be keeping a mother plant of the 3 strains above and one of each in either tent, i’ll ne organic in soil as its what i’m used to and i’ve allways been happy with the weed i’ve grown previously. I’ll be looking at snd aiming for just over a pound of weed ever 8/9 weeks.

Open to suggestions on lighting and both space, decided for the 4X4 ( hlg 600 r spec and this is on order ) not sure if this is best way to utilize both grow tents but its going to fun running them side by side and getting more experience on the grow from clones and with the various veg times.

I use a ChilLed Tech Growcraft x6 600 watt in my 4x4. I also run a ChilLed Tech Growcraft x3 mini (200 watts) in my 3x3 veg tent. Both work extremely well. Good Luck.

There’s so many out there to choose from, i notice alot of peeps over in the states mention leds i aint heard off ha haz shipping costs not the best at the mo either!
What you growing then ? Strain wise ? See alot of strains over in the US that seem a little hard to get a hold of over in the UK, ovbiously alot are growing legal and crossing strains and bringing to market

I'm growing White Widow by Greenhouse Seed Company. I'm using a medium that I wanted to test out before starting a perpetual grow.

What about "Delicious Seeds"? There a UK based company, with decent strains.

As for the LEDs, your right, way too many... and most have bullshit spectrums. It's always good to do your own research when it comes to lights.
In my opinion HLG, ChilLed Tech, The Green Sunshine Company, Gavita, and Growers Choice are all quality Led manufacturers, with decent warranties.

Attitude actually has some great USA genetics these days.

Yeah i’ve got a bunch of white widow seeds, allways been a fan and its an old school strain thats still loved by many.

tbh grizzly seed bank aint all bad and they stock green house seeds also, i was looking at the GH whitewidow few hours ago as i noticed they faster flowering strain than the seeds i have. You must have the same white widow if they green house mate ? Good luck anyways dude hope they treat you well, one of the frostier strains about.

Talking of seedbanks and the US strains, yes some of the UK seedbanks will get some US strains but i see and hear of others growing some crazy hybrids as i was touching on before but like i say its more because many are growing legally over there and alot of the old timers like to do the creating of new strains

- LEDS i’ve done quite a bit reading up mate and you’re pretty much spot on with them shouts tbh, gavita seem mega expensive, but i suppose you buy for the quality, think i’m happy with the HGL for thre 4x4 just need to source snd decide on veg light and another for the 3X3 think i might go with spider farmer 2000 dial that shit in best i can and see what i can pull out of the smaller tent.

thanks i was looking online st attidude just yesterday but i just went with grizzly as i noticed they stock seeds from other seed banks also, and tbh i’ve used them before and had little issues

Yeah GH WW has an 8 wk flower time, I usually let them run for about 9.5 wks. (personal preference).
Also, I've used Nirvana Seeds in the Netherlands .. my experiences with them are mixed.

I did hear the SF 2000 is decent for a 3x3 space .. although I'm not a fan. HLG doesn't make a 3x3 light?
I guess cost does have a bit to do with it..

you have me thinking i should of went with GH WH now only reason i didnt is i have some WW, and yeah some of thesenetherlands online shops a little iffy, i use one ( same place i got the WW seeds ) for CBD oil every time i ordrer a day or two later they put the oils on discount ( fuckers )

think all seeds i have purchased from grizzly are actually greenhouse seeds.

are these US online seedbanks mate ? Just i’m in UK and postage times a little iffy for ovbious reasons so tried to stay local or UK suppliers. Grizzly usualy 2 day turn around for postage

Yeah mate they pretty mega, mind i’ve seen others have good results with cheaper lights. Think more emphasis is on the grower and how well they know what they growing as some strains heavy feeders other not so heavy, see alot have issues with light intensity on some of the LED’s also. Think i’ll go with the SF 2000 for the 3X3 the HGL would be kicking way too much out for a 3X3

how many runs you done with the GH WW syntax ? What was yields like and finished bud.. quality over quantity for me allways

This will be my 5th run with GH WW. Starting my 6th in 3 weeks. I average around 4 oz per plant (results will obviously vary).
Personally, I think the quality is amazing. Stacked nodes, squat plant that is happier than a pig n shit when I turn the light up to 900 par.

I LST and Scrog for my results.

good pulls them mate if you hittinb 4 ounces a plant, i like those stocky squat plants over those thin leggy type ( sounded like some weird fetish that ha ) think i might grab a seed to keep as a mother plant.. if one of those lot doesnt impress i cando a run off WW, dam it knew o should of picked some up.

lol, I didn't always get those results .. average starting yield is about 3 oz. Trial n Error is my philosophy.
Sounds like you have good equipment, and the right idea.
Watch, in a couple of yrs you'll be in the same boat I'm in and be looking for a bigger grow space lol ..
