phresh filter screws

Do phresh filters come with screws that tighten onto the fan? I see a couple ports around the head of the filter where you slide it into the fan but no screws. Did they not give me screws? I did have a little baggy with some black metal clips but not screws

But how does the tape hold it together if one lip sits inside the other? I can understand the tape if each lip butts up together but my hurricane goes inside the phresh filter lip

my fan and filter slide inside of each other also,, and I just used ordinary duct tape to seal and hole it together,, easy

The tape doesn't hold it together, the self-tapping screws do. The foil tape just seals the joint.

duct tape sucks for ductwork. It's good for many things EXCEPT ducting.

And if you aren't using the mounting brackets on the inline fan, put a small piece of foil tape on both sides covering them holes;-)
