pink salad! (Fruit Salad x pink bud) closet grow!

Hello! this is my closet grow its just big enough to fit a 400W,4inch inline fan and scruber and around 4-5 autos avg temps are 88-79, So this is my first time with this strain and so far out of 12 beans i have pulled alot males and 3 runts and 2 are still unknown sex. I have germinated them around 2-3 weeks apart so that i can harvest one after another.So the first round of seeds i got 4 males and 1 female, disappointed i decided for the first female i got i was going make seeds. I used the fastest flowering male and used its pollen to pollenate her at around day 35.

So i chose this strain for its amazing colors and smoke i think the genetics are blueberry, mazar, Nycd. And the oldest female definitely has red pinkish hue to the bud hard to see in the pics.I am excited even though i only have 2 females but i still have chance to get one more =(



I did CARFULLY fimm the biggest female to see if i could get it bushy and i think it worked and for the male i did keep i topped just see,And it made 4 male main colas 1.jpg2.jpg3.jpg4.jpg5.jpg6.jpg

yeah my buddy grows the pinkbud and thats what i was going buy too but he said try there pink salad, so thats what i got, but ive had back luck with these batch of seeds hopefully next round will go better. I also want to try there pink ogre too but i dont think its available yet though.

my good friend has the regular ogre growing out now. i cant wait to snatch some of them beans up. i think the pinksalad is still being worked so you probably have the beta collection which isnt as stable as pinkbud which is a IBL but still good. i liked the pinkbud myself. i averaged 1 oz per plant in 1 gal grow bags. i also made some seeds which i have outside now.

ill post some pics at day 45 but its buds are already spliting with seeds so ill be trying this strain for a while. When you breed your seeds did you select certain buds? or what i did and shake the male all over the female, while i was strangling the male i was picturing in my head like plant porn LOL.This is my first time making seeds but i got an idea in my head of just pollenating the prepistals!? i didnt think they could make seeds but it makes sense its still a bud and my prepistals are all swollen with seeds if i knew that i would just did prepistals only theres atleast 20 prepistals healthy looking seeds forming.

yeah when i baught the pink salad it said it was really knew probally why the seeds were half the price of the pink bud but my friend was very convincing about how it would have wide range of phenos, seems like the batch i got had all runt phenos though lol! i also liked the genetics that went into it. would you recomend the pinkbud? i might still get them and try it or maybe the sour60 crosses those look tasty. 1oz off 1 gallon pots how strong is your light? mines 400w and highest ive got off 1 auto was 48grams but it was in a 5 gallon smart pot and for almost more then half its life it was on 24hr light then 20/4 this time i tried 3gal and 1 gal but if i still get a oz off them in 1 gal that will be nice.

  1. [*=1]DAy 45 i was hoping to harvest at 70days but i might let go longer to make sure the budded seeds are fully mature.
    [*=1]For being pollanated the buds are nice and frosty, its hard to tell cause its camera phone pic but later date ill use my other camera.

when i made my seeds i selected a few colorful girls and two of the best dudes and put them in a chamber to fully pollinate. if i would have known how many seeds it was gonna make i would have only pollinated lowers. of well, i got 3000 seeds out of it so i dont think ill need auto seeds for the next 10 yrs LOL. i let mine go about 35 days from pollination and they were perfectly ripe. i used a 600w on 20/4 and yes i would definitely reccomend pinkbud. the smoke is killer and fragrant for an auto.
as for the pinksalad, thats the reason i didnt go for it because its only at f2 and not as stable. pinkbud i believe is f7 or f8 and grows extremely uniform. mine were so uniform they looked a bunch of clones.
