Hi,

I have a seedling that has been planted for about 12 days, the cotyledon is visible and growing strong. But the first set of leave have not appeared. Instead this pistil-looking protrusion is coming out. Ideas?

What kind of lighting schedule are you running? 12 days is a Long time to not be showing any true leaves.

I cant really tell in the pic, but it probably is just the first set of true leaves.

Damnit I was hoping I found a new strain of herb that flowers as a seedling haha.. I was using one 2 ft standard shoplight four about 5 plants (was not enough light). I just put up some 24W CFLs. Each plant has 1-2 CFLS on them, and within 12 hours they I have already seen about 2-5 percent growth.
