Pistol Boobs???

so i was wondering ?
when will your plants natrually show sex? like when the spikes at branch unions and the white pistols show for fems and at this stage how can i tell the difference from male plants apart from the the spikes pointing towards each other at branch unions ?????

Some plants will show sex before 12/12 and some won't. In my experience, most plants need 12/12 to show.

And sorry, I'm not sure I understand your second question.. Can you clarify?

Oh, ok.. after reading your question again I think I know what you mean by the spikes. These are not indicative of sex. Pistils for females and pollen sacks for males.

Im still a newbie but I noticed sex 6-7 weeks in Veg(first grow). You can tell faster by putting them 12/12 for about a week. Don't go by just spikes look for the little white pistols. You will know a male vs female the first time u see the ball sacs. I had never seen a male till my second grow when I ended up with 3. I was pissed, I think I will buy feminized seed from now on.

Everything I've grown if kept long enough shows sex. I do have 1 Mendocino Madness that just doesn't want to show. But as said some do and some don't.

i don't think i explained very well, i meant when do they begin to start getting pistols at branch unions when they are still in veg,not once their put into flowering. my sativa plant started showing at about 6 weeks in veg but she started of with really crap lights for the first 3 weeks before we got a couple of 300w lights so???? anyone ??

Like what has already been mentioned, it's a toss up. Some will and some won't. And if they do on their own, who knows how long. I've had males show in 3 weeks.
