Well I know that my current grow is well underway (see my sig). Well now I have gotten my toes wet and feel ready to take on a larger grow. I have ordered seeds but I want to make a continuous grow setup with separate Veg and Flower Chambers. Right now here is what I have planned.
For Veg:
Bottom/Top of box will be 5ft x 3.5 ft I plan on making the bottom using 2x4 so that I can have air flowing thru while also allowing excess water to drip out onto the ground as well as wheels on the bottom to easily move it around the room
Sides 3.5ft x 3.5 ft Seeing as this will only be used for veg I wanted to keep it a little shorter allowing for around 2.4 ft of growth before moving them into the Flower Chamber.
Front and back 3.5ft x 5ft Front will have hinges for easy opening and closing as well as to keep the light sealed in.
Plan on using pine to build it then painting it with flat white for increased reflection. Also another key thing about this is I want to be able to take the boxes apart afterwards for easy storage/moving. Will hold it all together with screws to be able to do this.
Light for this chamber is planned on a 4 foot 4 tube T5 HO on top and back wall not sure if this is a good idea please let me know your thoughts.
For heat control for both chambers I plan on running ducting from Air conditioner vent to the top of each box.
From my calculations I should be able to fit at least 8 plants in this box using #3 Smart Pots. Goal is 12 tho but crossing my fingers.
Ok now for the Flower Chamber:
Top and base will be constructed similar with the same dimensions. However this time the sides will be 3.5ft x 7ft and 5ft x 7ft. This should provide plenty of space to let the air move around the box as well as allowing for ample space to grow and get some nice big buds
For light in this chamber I plan on using the 600w HPS I have from my previous grow should be good as it is working nice currently.
For moving air around the box I wanted to use the same small fans that I am currently using as they give the plants some good shake when they are turned on.
Anyways that is my thoughts on a box just let me know what you think about it and here is a list of strains that I hope to run in it.

3x Green House White Rhino Feminised Seeds
3x Sweet Dark Devil Autoflowering Feminised Seeds
4x Female White Widow X Big Bud Feminised Seeds

2x Delicious Critical Jack Herer Feminised Seeds
3x Royal Queen Skunk #1 Feminised Seeds
