plant damage

Was repositioning lights and dropped light onto plant. It tore one of the main colas off of a topped plant. not a clean snap either, kind of peeled off part of the stem. leaving interior of main stem exposed. is this enough damage to turn the plant into a hermie? 3wks into flower.....

probably not they are pretty tough. might tape it to keep pests/mold ect out. might lose the bud tho

thx for the quick response. i have a few goin so i might just leave it be and see what happens. does mold easily form on open plant wounds?

i cut off the torn half of the plant btw

you should be ok. just keep it covered to be safe.
