Plant grew two stalks

So I planted this hash spice seed I ordered and during the beginning of its development it looked quite deformed but now since flowering it has more than quadrupled in size and the stalk parted into two separate huge stalks one with one cola and the other has two. Has anyone ever seen or heard of a plant doing this?

Almost anything you see in nature regarding reproduction can happen to Cannabis.

Nearly all are mutations(Trying to think of an exception).

I've seen twins(two complete seedlings from one seed), Siamese twins(two main stems from one root, both stressed and unstressed).

I've seen damaged seeds produce numerous kinds of misshapen plants.

Sometime a seemingly normal seedling will spontaneously start producing three or four leaves per node, only to revert back to two when the stem splits into two or three main branches. These are usually observed in vigorously growing plants.

I have one plant that was very slow to start. It was a week away from the compost pile when it decided to start growing. Severely damaged seed tissue. It has now split into three main stems with the center stem producing three leaves per node. This plant is a rare Afghani strain that I'd hate to lose.

Never give up til its brown and crispy.

Cannabis often finds a way.

By the way, the kind of mutations you mention are the result of excellent skills on your part.

Okay so here are some pics of the plant don't have a digital camera at the moment so i substituted with macbook and cell phone. There are two pics on here taken with a digital camera from when the plant was small, you can clearly see the two stems developing and what I thought was really weird was that in the beginning it only had its first two round seedling leaves until a week after the first fertilizer which was when it was three weeks old!! Anyways it shot up bigger than all my other plants and is a nice looking lady.
