I apoligize for coming off in a rude manner but the simple fact is you were wrong, twice, in one post.
First you asserted that splinting it is essentially a waste of time which it may be depending on the circumstances but it certainly is a reasonable option. Now had you made an actual obsevation such as the fact that it may cause unnecessary strain on the plant in flower and it is true it may not take at all. Done right it isn't terribly irrational but it isn't 100% guaranteed. It may however have been worth it considering he's only two weeks into flower and still has two weeks of pretty good growth and may certainly have more yeild. Its a toss up.
Second you suggested that rooting hormone may help this process which is also wrong in that said hormone is merely used for the stimulation of root growth in plants. Maybe this would have been advisable if he wanted to root it and re-veg it but you just didn't say that either.
You are also wrong in your final post, as I alluded to earlier that a cola on a stem won't root. Otherwise I guess I totally don't have a ten inch tall plant from a top that rooted four weeks in and has over the past two months re-vegged and started giving me clones.
Would you like pictures? I have some. I can get more in two minutes. Where's your grow? All I've seen is a closet with a fan and some hangers it appears you'll be using to light it with.
I haven't seen anything else. Plants man?
Telling me to suck your dick over pm was quite a kind and generous offer but I will have to decline.
Lurk more noob.
Well say whatever you want, if I know anything or not...I never said that I knew that root hormone on the splint would work or not. It's something that I said that might help it grow back together. Of course a stem with a cola on it is not going to root with hormone gel on it, but might start to heal the end of the stem on both sides.
P.S. Hydro929 Sucks.
