Plant leaf problems

Running 9 plants in DWC veg at the moment all same strain from seed a few of the plants are showing quite bad yellowing on the upper canopy leaves. E.C is around 0.8 seems to be stable thru the week PH 5.8 slowly rises to 6.1-6.2 over the week before water change. Not sure what the problem could be? Using MH bulbs room temps 24 degrees C lights on and about 16 when off. Could anyone share some insight please cheers. System is not recirculated but they all are connected and have the same water in. One plant pictured (the biggest) seems perfect with no issues

Hi mate have a look into iron deficiency? Thinking it could be that myself that’s how it’s looking anyway. I’m no expert but might worth just looking up some iron deficiency pictures and comparing? Hopefully this helps you out mate

Ok thanks mate i have seen that as a possible cause but normally when PH is high but i also read it can occur when roots are not in great health?? Some of the roots are not crystal clear white and do have a slight brown tinge to them but nothing I’ve ever had a problem with in previous grow

yeah it could be root rot problems causing the yellowing I know this has an effect on new growth being a yellow colour. Has she been taking up less and less water that’s normally a give away as well? Just be careful not to jump to conclusions with the roots I know some can be a brown tinge but that can be caused from fertiliser stains. Has the roots got a smell or slimy?

No I always check the roots when they go off white and no slime or smell to them new root growth is perfect and white but the use up a 5gal bucket in about a week which has always been normal when they are smaller. Due to the browness i have started using a beneficial called flying skull Z7 to help keep the root zone clean

How is the system plumbed? Looks like only 1 bucket is getting fresh water and the others are starving.

Did you make changes recently?

I re done the water today, they all fill up evenly ad there is a 100litre res on the other side connected to a brain pot which is set up so the water never fills the bucket more than a few inches below the net pot

Could anyone else shed some light on my issue i have changed the water and reset the PH to 5.8 also adding Flying skull Z7 to help keep my rootzone clean. Anyone else think of possible remedies? Dont really want to flower them when they are unhealthy

I’m more sided on it being an iron deficiency, never had it before but im gunna guess its to do with climbing PH and iron being locked out so i have changed water and will monitor PH over the next week to see if it clears uo
