Plant problems. Very early days!

Gday gang
Iam wondering if any of you experts have any diagnosis or advice for my little children.
Iam getting into week 2 now and my seedlings aren't looking too crash hot.
Theyve been in the big pots and under the 400w HPS for about 5 days.

The first pic shows them a week ago still in their peat pellets and looking pretty healthy.

I had the HPS about 3 inches lower to begin with and they seemed to be getting burnt so i moved it to the current height.

Iam using very fertile basalt soil mixed with peat moss for more o2 regulation.

The plants are in a roof cavity and the airflow is veyr good.

Any advice or idea's guys. The two worse looking ones seem to be getting worse every day.

They're durban poison from nirvana btw.

Unfortunately I don't have an answer, I too am experiencing the same prob except I'm using CFL's.

They are too young for nutrients. You should have them in a nutrient free soil.

yup i agree dont start with the nutrients yet

damn man they are burn ur HPS was way to close and caused way to much heat espically for those lil babie calm down u should probably start off with some CFLS
