Plant spacing

This will be my last time using my coolers as reservoirs and will be switching to a RDWC for many reasons, but one being to solve this spacing issue.

If I LST the larger plants on the outside away from the middle, do you think I'll have enough room to effectively SCROG or should I remove the two small plants in the middle?20210403_121035.jpg

As much as it pains me to say it, I agree there! Those two littles are my first Maui Wowie's! I want to move them to my garden outside but I live in the desert and worry about the extreme dry heat in the summer. I'll shade it and all that, but I can only do so much!

It's a 4x4. Next house I'm upgrading my growing space footprint too! This will likely be my seedling/cloning tent in the future! If I switch this to an RDWC and space more evenly, think it might be worth keeping the two smaller Maui's or is it simply a timing issue where they'll be lagging the whole time and I'll lose some production out of the space they're taking? That right?
 
Exactly. Dont get me wrong you can make it work no problem. But you can get say, whats your average yield 10-14ozs? You could get that yield of nice nuggets from the 4 comfortable, healthy plants easy to work with & maintain. Or you could maybe get the same yield of smaller, poorer quality buds from 6 cramped, overcrowded, barely accessible plants.
 
So I cleaned my outside garden today in preparation for the transplanting of my two Maui Wowie plants! Also upped the gallons in my reservoirs to 6 each and holding off on the RDWC until my reservoirs aren't being used. At least my garden is ready for the 6 other clones I was going to put in as well! I'll be making those clones tonight or tomorrow! Thanks for all the advice!
 
So I did the best of both world's! I kept my littles but transplanted them outside into my garden and left my 4 bigs in the 4x4 tent. 6 gallons per reservoir and my new light should be here in this week!
