Yeah, whats up everyone??

I've got my last Nirvana "Ice" plant growing right now. She's only 9 days old and she's almost done with her 3rd set of leafs.. getting ready to spit out the 4th set of leafs. She's doing absolutely fabulous as of right now.. and I'm sure I won't have any problems along the way either. I rarely do.. unless its a genetic prob with the plant its self, or a mistake that I accidentally make along the way.

Anyhow, I found another seed that I didn't realize I had. I have no idea as to what strain it is.. the only strain it could be.. would be Nirvana's PPP (Pure Power Plant) which was the very first strain that I had ever ordered. I remember it though, I had the 5pack of the feminized 'PPP' strain.. and I remember losing one of the seeds but I couldn't find it back then.. but I stumbled upon it about 5 days ago. Germinated it.. it popped open after about 38 hours of germination.

I then planted it just for shits and giggles.. and when I got up this morning to water my Ice lady.. I noticed that the PPP seed had sprouted already. I got to looking at it.. and its got 3 cotyledons. Never experienced this before.. I'm sure its just a genetic mutation somewhere along the line. Genetics went haywire on this plant for some reason or another.

It's got your normal 2 cotyledons.. to protect its tiny first set of leafs just like every Cannabis plant has. Only.. there's an extra on in the left hand side of the other two normal ones. Just curious if anyone else has ever experienced this.. ???

Thought it was kinda cool and figured I would share it with you guys.. and see if anyone else has ever experienced anything like this.

Peace..

I did a little google searching and a shit ton of growing forums popped up with the same question haha, so I guess although it is a very recessive trait not unheard of though

thanks hopkins..

and yea... I think I will take a pic of this one. I doubt I'll ever see this again.

I'll be posting the picture tomorrow night.. so if you want to see it feel free to come back then.

If my battery for the camera was charged I'd do it right now. So, again.. tomorrow the freak will be posted.

peace..

I had one like that a few years back, and it grew just as well as other plants, just had a third branch to start with. Mine, unfortunately, turned out to be hermie, but don't think my experience means all three leafers are destined to herm.

I believe they are called tripliods and they produce 3 branches, rather than the traditional 2...you might get a big yielder if it turns out female!
