Plants Havnt Sprouted Yet?!?

OK,
i started some plants, my setup is prolly the cheapest setup ever but im not lookin for killer dro i just want some pot to put in a bag and smoke and save some, now my idea is some dwarf bud i aint gonna allow my plants to get more than 6-9'' so ill top them off when needed but they have been in soil and had plenty of water but i havent seen nothing yet and its almost been a week...is this ok? normal? or fucked up? hit me back

Personally i use the paper towel method for germinating....& always get sprouts within 5 days. you might have gone over the top with "plenty of water".... the soil only needs to be moist for germination. Give them another few days. Good Luck.

thanks for the info guess i should of got into deeper detail,
i have germ'd the seeds in a glass of purified water first (untill they fell to the bottom) and planted them and they get waterd 2 times aday cause my dirt gets crusty from my light
