plants/ light distance

hey recently i found that my plants were wayyyyy to far away from my lights they were almost 2 ft away and the clones are only 6 inchs tall ive moved them to around 10 inches away and i was wondering if that was 2 much or not enough cause ive read alot of different things on different sites and heard alot threw different people im trying to do anything huge i just got a couple of plants under 2 2fts t5 lights and i dont wanna burn my plants or not give them enough lights

with them t5's,you can put it 3-6 in" from the plants.....:idea:

Well-Known Member
put them as close as possible, just hold the back of your hand between the bulb and plant and if it burns your hand after a minute or so its too close.
