Plants not happy.

So these were overwatered early on (this pretty much happens with all my rockwool grows and not usually an issue in the long run) but I'm now about 1 1/2 weeks since flip and as they look ok they certainly don't look 100% happy. I've run these once before and everything went fine.

My initial thoughts are they might be still slightly overwatered OR I might be giving them a bit too much light (I usualy run about 700ppfd these are currently around 790). Also PH was a bit high (6+ so I dropped it a bit around 5.7ish). Any other suggestions?

EDIT: Currently watering only once a day.

classic Ebb and flow with 4"x4" rockwool
EC: 1.0
TEMP: 75 to 80F
RH: 45%
PPFD: 790ish
PH: 6ish

This pic is just after lights on so I imagine they'll perk up a bit but they still arent looking like they're firing on all cylinders.

Maybe 790 is too high? I’d start with the two variables as you mention, light and pH. Usually too intense light makes them droop heavily towards the night cycle

Wish i seen lowest leaves on that pic to see if it's being underwatered...kinda looks like it but i can't say 100% just from the tops, if they are drooping right down like they gonna fall off..then they need water but yeah i only get droop like that when they are thristy and being watered then they perk up, dpubt they are bring overwatered just for once a day.... I would raise the light just abie right now as you are still in veg really annd maybe she doesn't want that amount of light and the RH doesn't help much.

Keep that ph range into 5.7 or 5.8 daily and increase the EC a little bit like 1.2/1.6...

The joys of knowing your strain :)

So got home from work and I can say that the plants aren't drinking nearly what should be expected at this age. Lifted the lights up a tad and of course lowerd the PH this morning. Roots seem pretty healthy from what I can see. This has got me perplexed..We shall see.

Definitely not underwatered. RW is holding plenty of water....if anything too much. I'm wondering if my res water is low on oxygen.

So heres something intersting. I changed my charcoal filter on this grow and I just noticed when I blew my vape smoke into the tent the smoke wasn't eliminated from the tent right away. I'm wondering if the new filter choked down my ventilation some. I just dialed it up a bit. So now changed three things so I'll have no idea what worked if the problem is corrected. haha

Interesting. How can you be far off with drops? Bad solution? I've had pens in the past but I like the no fuss of drops.
We do not all see colors the same and those drops require standard color vision. It was a common problem that would pop up in chemistry classes. That was where I first saw it. Further color vision abnormalities are more common in men than women and our vision's color accuracy also fades and changes a little with age. That's why I stuck with calibrating a meter. I hope that helps.

Don't mean to highjack my own thread Ha ha but intersting you said that. Just recently helped a friend of mine with his own grow set up. I set him up with the drops and he was having all kinds of problems with reading the colors. Ultimately opted for a PH pen. I thought he was just an idiot. hahaha but evidently theres something to it.

Yeah :) It's just one more thing you don't really think about unless you happened to experience it. So take your friends drops and show him how to calibrate a pen. Oh and you're right too about drops going 'bad' so having a meter for a sanity check once in awhile helps too.

Anyway I'm sure you'll do fine and I have nothing against drops. If you can see them accurately they are great but never hurts to sort of check things if something is going wrong and you just can't put a finger on it. That's when the hunt for zebras begins

Loking a little better but still not 100%. I'm thinking it was a fresh air exchnge/flow problem. Hope the problem is resolved.
