Plants smaller than anticipated

Ok, so im on day 36 from seed of some Easy Ryders. Theyre about 5 inches tall and have quite a few pistils and still have vegetative growth sat in a plastic greenhouse in 7L pots in the UK.

Theyre in john innes no.2 compost, and getting fed no nutes. I know i should, but its only a first grow so i dont want to stress the plants with over/under feeding.

The sun has been hiding this summer and has been raining ALOT - i know this could be a major factor but im just searching for more reasons as to why theyre so small and if i could do anything to make them thrive a bit more and i was expecting some bud growth by now.

Thanks alot, HH

Not sure about this because of a lack of experience with autos and growing in general... But I am coming up on week three and it sounds like mine might already be bigger. Although I am growing Big Devil. I have heard this is a taller auto... Mine are just growing their first pistils (at least one of them) although mine have bin' getting no rain and probably more light... Here's my thread if you wanna compare or something : https://www.rollitup.org/outdoor-growing/445342-outdoor-grow-sweet-seeds-big.html#post5931434

Cheers for your input, where abouts are you located? They havnt been getting rain as they have been sheltered, but it has been mostly cloudy so the light is probably alot more intense. They look like yours do in week 2, although a bit bigger.

Cheers, HH

Edit - btw, your plants are looking niiice

Thanks mate. Mine were kept inside for 2 1/2 weeks being moved outdoors in the daytime with at least 5-6 hours of direct sunlight. I'm in NorCal
Also mine have bin' taking off lately. Don't know really what to expect from them yet I've seen all sorts of different results for people growing this strain...

Mine were indoors for about a week and a half from seed on the window ledge just so i monitor how they were doing (first grow and all) then they were transpotted and put in the greenhouse. Just starting to think with this sort of growth that ill have no bud at all :(

+ yeah, NorCal will most deffinitely have better light than here.

Sounds like you nailed it. Lack of sun, plus the rainy weather can give you that result. I've grown plenty of Easyryders outdoors and none of them have been very big.

Thanks for the reassurance, thought it was just me. Can i ask if you had a decent amount of smokeables at harvest? I mean the reason i grew in the first place was simply because im sick of buying shit weed at such high prices, so at the end of all of it im just hoping to square my money back up to what i spent on the beans, (not alot).

I don't smoke too much, so it's always been plenty for me come harvest. If you click on my signature, you can see my most recent Easyryder harvest. Best of luck to you.

Mine didnt get too tall but they did reach the 65-70cm mark!..Mine are encrusted with resin after day 59 from seed!

also, the weather is picking up and im seeing a remarked difference, however i just want the buds now with them being so late on, and theyre still vegging.

What strain are you running?..I planted mine outdoors may 23 and by July 1st..It was on!!..If I could have gotten 42 days of veg, my yield would've been off the scale!!..Good luck with your grow my friend..I'm pulling mine in 10-14 days as many seem dead ripe now!!
