The plants were way too long in vegetative state, now starting to preflower. The beasties are five feet tall grown with CFLs in a closet. As I don't have room to raise the bulbs any higher, the tops are starting to burn. I was thinking of switching to side mounted bulbs to reduce the chance of burning. Your thoughts?

or maybe LST with bulbs at the side. to be honest if ur plants are what they are now ur gonna wanna flowerin from the side anyway.
u should of thought about the height issue bcoz now when u start to flower its gonna get at least double the size,lol.
or u could find a new place to grow.....
really depends which option works best for u
